Compare roundness, spacing and line length
Poppins emphasizes circular geometry and nearly uniform strokes. Montserrat’s origins lie in urban signs and posters. Both can work for titles; use the samples to choose the texture that suits your own project, rather than treating one as universally more readable.
Start in Regular with a mixed-case heading. Compare the o, a and capital M, then inspect the spaces in your longest word. Switch both to Bold and check where each line wraps. Equal numeric sizes preserve real differences in visible height and width.
For a label, include the product name and quantity. For a slide, include your longest heading. Download the handout to review both on paper, or choose “Use this font” beside a sample to carry your text into the graphic editor.

How can I compare fonts with my own text and print a sample sheet?
Replace the example with your text, choose up to ten fonts and set the font size. Select A4 or US Letter, then choose Download handout PDF. Each sample is labeled with its font name. Short samples share a sheet where space allows; longer text continues onto more pages at the same font size.
How is this different from the text generator?
This tool gives you compact font samples and a comparison handout. Choose “Use this font” when you are ready to add colors, backgrounds or padding and export a finished graphic. The text generator’s combined PDF keeps one design per page.
Will all my samples fit on one sheet?
Short samples can share one sheet. The handout keeps each sample together when it fits, and continues longer samples onto new pages with the font name repeated. It preserves your font size instead of shrinking individual fonts. Exports support up to 100 pages.
What about missing characters or bold and italic?
Some font families do not contain all characters or styles. Your browser may use another font for unsupported characters or simulate bold and italic. Simulated styles are noted beside samples and in the handout. Check the characters you plan to use before choosing your font.
Is my text saved when I switch tools?
Using “Compare these fonts” or “Use this font” temporarily carries your text and settings within this browser tab. The transfer is removed when the other tool reads it, expires after ten minutes, and is never added to the URL or sent to FontStyleLab. Ordinary visits start with example text.
