A guide to your activity
What you can make and how to use it
Create a typing test with a passage from your own lesson, revision notes or practice text. Choose a timed test or type until the passage is complete, then review speed and accuracy. Using familiar content lets students practise keyboard skills while revisiting useful material.
How to get started
- Paste your passage and choose a test length, or select the option to finish the entire passage.
- Start the activity and begin typing. The timer starts with your first character, so you can read the instructions first.
- Review your words per minute, accuracy and elapsed time. Download the result or start another round with the same passage.
Common questions
How are typing speed and accuracy calculated?
Speed uses correct characters remaining in your text, with five characters counted as one word. Accuracy includes mistakes you later correct. Results are practice feedback, not a standardized typing certificate.
Can I save my activity for another lesson?
Yes. Save a project in this browser or download a project backup to open later. A backup is useful when moving devices or clearing browser storage. Shared links are independent copies; later changes and results do not sync.
