Language and examples

Interface language changes menus and worksheet labels. Activity language applies to your material and pronunciation.

Starter examples follow the activity language. Your own text is never translated. Load an example to replace the current material; you can undo it.

Paste a word list

One word or phrase per line. Separate an optional clue with a tab. Import replaces the current list; you can undo it.

Use up to 40 entries, or 24 for a crossword. Crossword and scramble grids keep letters and accents, without spaces or punctuation.

The final phrase uses numbered letters from the solved words. Every letter must be available in your word list.

A guide to your activity

What you can make and how to use it

Turn your own word list into an anagram worksheet or an online word scramble. Add clues to connect spelling practice with meaning, and optionally finish with a hidden phrase made from letters in the solved words. Use short topic lists for lesson starters or independent revision.

How to get started

  1. Add words and optional clues, or paste a list. Review the scrambled letters and use New arrangement for a different shuffle.
  2. Optionally enter a final phrase. Its letters must be available in your answers; numbered letters guide students to the solution.
  3. Solve one word at a time online, or print the worksheet and optional answer key for a paper activity.

Common questions

How does the final-phrase challenge work?

Students solve the scrambled words, then copy the indicated letters into the final phrase. This is optional: leave the final phrase empty for an ordinary word scramble.

Can I save my activity for another lesson?

Yes. Save a project in this browser or download a project backup to open later. A backup is useful when moving devices or clearing browser storage. Shared links are independent copies; later changes and results do not sync.
