    No target

Build speaking prompts instead of a full script

Give each cue card a heading and a few short points. Add a delivery reminder such as pause, look up or show the example, and keep longer background information in private notes. An outline with headings becomes a sequence of cards you can reorder. These prompts support the speaker; audience-facing slides belong in Text to Presentation.

Practise on your phone with manual pacing

Open rehearsal for large, reflowing prompts and a preview of the next heading. Start or pause the timer, set an optional target for each card and move on only when you choose. Horizontal swipes and arrow keys navigate; vertical movement scrolls long prompts. Finish rehearsal to review the time spent on every card.

Print cue cards or share a rehearsal copy

Print two or four cards per A4 or US Letter sheet, with cut guides and optional delivery reminders. A custom text link carries the cards, reminders and target durations to another browser, without private notes or rehearsal results. Each copy starts a separate practice session. Save an editable backup to retain all of your preparation.

      Share your content

The link includes your text, layout and settings. Cue-card reminders and targets are included; private notes and rehearsal times are excluded.

Text-only links open an independent copy. Later edits do not update an existing link. Anyone with the link can keep or forward it; links cannot be revoked.

      How to use this tool

      1. Paste an outline with # headings, or add cards individually. Write one short key point per line.
      2. Add delivery reminders and an optional target in seconds for each card. Keep extra detail in private notes.
      3. Open rehearsal for large prompts, manual card navigation and per-card timing on your phone or computer.
      4. Download printable cue card sheets: choose A4 or US Letter, 2 or 4 cards per sheet, and cut along the guides.

      Make it your own

Prepare a wedding speech, a classroom talk, interview talking points or a pitch. A cue card helps you remember the next idea without reading a full script. Use delivery reminders such as “pause” or “look up”, and set a target for each part of your speech. The rehearsal view reflows to your screen and shows the next heading. Timers pause when you leave the tab. Finish to review time spent on each card.

      Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Text to Presentation?

Text to Presentation creates slides for your audience, including pictures and layouts. This tool creates short prompts for the speaker, with a phone-friendly rehearsal view, per-card timing and printable card sheets.

Can I print 2 or 4 cue cards per sheet?

Yes. Choose A4 or US Letter and 2 larger cards or 4 cards per sheet. Download the PDF, print at actual size and cut along the dashed guides. Print sheets use white backgrounds. Cards are images in the PDF.

Will delivery reminders and private notes be printed?

You can include or omit delivery reminders on printable sheets. Private notes are always omitted from PDF, PNG and offline HTML downloads; they are available in rehearsal and editable project backups.

      Do cards advance automatically?

In rehearsal, no. Use the Previous and Next buttons, left and right arrow keys, or a horizontal swipe. Target times help you pace yourself without forcing you to move on. This is not a continuously scrolling teleprompter.

      Are my rehearsal times saved?

Rehearsal times are temporary and reset when you restart or reopen rehearsal. Save a project to keep your cards, delivery reminders, target durations and print settings. Offline HTML is a simple card slideshow without rehearsal timing.
