Features and uses

Clean pasted text by trimming line edges, collapsing repeated spaces, removing blank lines and deleting duplicate lines. The example deliberately contains extra spaces, blank lines and a repeated sentence so you can see the cleanup.

Sort lines in natural A–Z or Z–A order, ignore case, remove zero-width spaces, or find and replace literal text. Keep your original beside the result, copy or download the cleaned text, or send a list to the word-search or bingo tool.

Formats, options and limits

• Clean up to 100,000 input characters. Find and replacement fields each accept up to 120 characters; leave the replacement empty to delete matches. Replacement runs after the line-cleanup steps, and treats punctuation as literal text rather than a regular expression.
• Ignore case applies to duplicate detection, sorting and replacement. Natural sorting puts Item 2 before Item 10. Copy the cleaned text or download UTF-8 TXT; lists of up to 4,000 input characters can also be sent to the word-search or bingo maker.

Input limits follow the browser’s character count; some emoji use more than one input character, even when they appear as one visible character in the result.

Good to know

Changes apply only to the result. Duplicate removal compares complete lines. Sorting uses the selected language and natural number order. Find and replace treats your search as literal text.
