Downloads
Labels, cards, certificates and posters
The new print tools export paper-sized PDFs containing rendered images at 150, 300, 600 or 1200 ppi. You can also download the displayed sheet as a PNG. Choose from A3, A4, A5, A6, US Letter, Legal and Tabloid paper. Labels and cards place several names on each sheet; certificates use one page per name. Print at Actual size / 100% and check one sheet first. Tiled posters include overlapping image areas and optional assembly guides.
Several images at once
In Watermark images or Resize images, choose Process several images. Review up to ten results, remove any files you do not want, and download a ZIP. Collages arrange up to ten photos; contact sheets continue onto additional pages when needed.
Social images, carousels and video
Download a single image from the photo or cover editor. Use Download all slides · ZIP for a carousel, or Export multiple formats for a set of four sizes. Extract the ZIP to get the PNGs; carousel filenames keep the slides in order.
Use Animated text for moving words, or Text on video for timed titles over your own clip. Play the preview before downloading MP4.
Which PDF will I get?
Monograms, font pairings, word art and glyph compositions export one design per PDF, with vector outlines. PNG follows the background and scale settings.
- Text generator: one design per page. “Download all · PDF” collects the selected fonts into one file. Each page contains an image of the styled text; it is not editable or vector text.
- Font comparison: several labeled samples per sheet. “Download handout PDF” uses dark text on white and preserves the chosen font size. Longer samples continue onto more pages. Lettering is stored as high-resolution images.
- Printable letters: one character per page. These PDFs contain vector outlines on A4 or US Letter pages. Repeated letters get their own pages; spaces do not add blank sheets.
Choose PNG or SVG for a graphic
A PNG is an image you can place in another layout. In the text generator, choose Transparent PNG to let your slide or photo show through, or PNG to include the chosen background color. In the curved-text and SVG tools, PNG follows the background setting.
An SVG contains scalable letter outlines. It stays sharp when resized in an SVG-compatible app and does not need the font installed. The letters are shapes; change the wording in FontStyleLab before exporting again.

Help with previews, downloads and printing
How do I save an editable project or move it to another device?
In tools with Save project, name your design and save it. Reopen it from My projects in the same browser. These projects do not sync between devices. Use Download project backup, keep the .fsl.json file, and choose Import project backup in the matching tool on another device. Download a backup before clearing browser data.
PNG, SVG, PDF and MP4 are finished exports. They do not replace an editable project backup. Tools without Save project require you to keep your wording and settings separately.
My carousel or Story download is a ZIP file
Carousel and multiple-format downloads are ZIP files containing PNG images. Extract the ZIP before choosing images in your social app.
For a carousel, select the numbered slides in order. For a Story, use vertical-story-1080x1920.png from the four-format export. Check the crop in the destination app before posting.
My video cannot be opened or exported
Text on video accepts clips up to 30 seconds and 40 MB. MP4 export needs even pixel dimensions, at most 1920 pixels per side and 2 million pixels overall. Follow the editor’s error message; if the format or encoding is unsupported, try another MP4 clip or a current browser on a supported device.
Where are my favorite fonts?
Star a font in the font browser, then choose Favorites to find it again. Favorites are kept in this browser when storage is available. They do not save your design or sync to another device. All fonts shows the full selection available in the current tool.
A font or character does not appear correctly
Check your connection and use Retry font where offered. In the text generator and comparison tool, your browser can simulate missing bold or italic styles and use a fallback font for unsupported characters. The curved, printable and SVG tools stop with an explanation when a character is unsupported. Try another font and check the preview before downloading.
My text or image is too large
In the text generator, enable Wrap long lines or lower Font size. For A4, enable Fit text to page or adjust Page margins. Lower Download quality if the image exceeds the pixel limit. Comparison handouts add pages automatically, up to 100. For printable letters using Exact height, reduce Letter height or try landscape when a wide letter will not fit.
I cannot find my download
Check your browser’s downloads list and your device’s Downloads folder. On a phone, the file may open in a preview or share sheet. If the tool reports an error, resolve it and try the download again.
My printed letters or page are the wrong size
Match the printer paper to the exported page and choose Actual size / 100%. Print one test page first. Fit or Shrink settings can change the physical size. The classroom printing guide explains sizing and test prints.
How do I keep my text when switching tools?
The text generator’s Compare these fonts & make a handout link temporarily carries your text and selected fonts to comparison in the same tab. Use this font or Use all in text generator carries them back.
Compare fonts inside a font picker opens a separate comparison tab and keeps your design open. Choose the Use in link for your original tool to apply a font back to that design. Keep the original tab open. These comparison transfers do not save a project.
